GPHS Project Graduation 2026 is sponsoring the annual "Will-A-Thon" to raise money for a safe drug and alcohol free party for the Class of 2026. Participants will consult with one of the following volunteer attorneys to have a basic will, power of attorney, and advance directive prepared. Cost $300 Single, $350 Couple. Required orientation March 10 oe 14 for volunteers to help with Riding Beyond's programs with horses for spring, summer and fall 2026. Programs enlist the power of the horse/human connection for addressing trauma from breast cancer treatment, long COVID, wildfires, and other environmental trauma. No horse experience needed. Join multi-published Louisa Morgan as she facilitates a workshop for writers once a month. Louisa will illuminate one important element of writing and the writing life each meeting and the rest of the time will be spent workshopping. Novels, short stories, and memoirs are all welcome, as are all genres, from cozy romance to hard science fiction. New writers as well as experienced authors are encouraged to join in. The members will critique each other’s work, with emphasis on positive and supportive feedback. The workshop is designed to enhance skills for writers of any level. Beginners to early writers welcome!

Presenter Bio: Louisa Morgan (pseudonym for Louise Marley), has been publishing steadily since her first novel appeared in 1995. She is a three-time winner of the Endeavour Award, given for excellence in speculative fiction by a Pacific Northwest author. Previously trained as a classical singer, she performed with the Seattle Opera and Seattle Symphony. She taught voice and related subjects at Cornish College of the Arts and has toured the world as a soloist. She recently settled in Jacksonville and enjoys teaching introduction to writing to adults and teens.

Barbara Seim discusses the belief that grief is immutable and psychological- something we merely learn to live with and tolerate, versus another perspective- that grief is a physical body phenomenon that can be processed to move through and out of the body by way of a variety of body-centered and heart-centered somatic practices.

Discover the joy of music in this engaging class designed for children 0-5 and their caregivers. This class combines singing, rhythm, movement and sign language. Get ready to sing beloved songs from around the world and make music together in this weekly class! Sponsored by Jackson Care Connect. (Ages 0-5 with accompanying adult -$5 per child ) This program repeats both Monday and Wednesday.

Instructor Bio: Laurie Finear has been a music teacher in the Rogue Valley for over 15 years as a certified Music Together teacher. She now creates and teaches her own music classes for children and their caregivers in Ashland and Jacksonville. She is passionate about sharing the joy of music with children and families.

Jackie Dandeneau will be joined by a host of other artists to talk, laugh, and share stories about the past ten years of the festival, the challenges and joys of working in the arts, and what they see as the path forward. This lunchbox will include a lively community discussion about why we have made space for this festival these last ten years, and how we can continue to create, support and ignite creative women for years to come. Every lunchbox comes with a homemade soup, salad, bread, and a beverage.

We have a wide assortment of food available. Bags with staple items are pre-filled, but we will gladly add any special requests if they are available. When you visit, there is always a simple lunch. On the last Wednesday of every month, we serve a pretty darned good hot meal with salad and a huge table filled with pies and desserts. We call it a community lunch. All are welcomed.
